In the home environment, Dylan is very outgoing and friendly, loving the attention of visitors.  He is a soft, pliable yet plush cat who enjoys a lavish lifestyle.

He mixes well with the rest of his feline household and enjoys a leisurely life in an outstanding cat home.  This cat heaven includes a cat-safe outdoor activity garden with water fountains, beds and climbing frames, a specialised cat room indoors and free roam of the entire house.

Dylan is a seasoned traveller and competes regularly in GCCF cat shows, where he has excelled in competitions.  He has achieved the title of Grand Premier because he handles and shows so well. Settling easily in new environments, he is also a dream outside of the home.

Dylan is a very outgoing with a serene appearance.  He’s a very friendly cat with other felines and also humans, so he can work in a variety of filming situations.

Dylan is toy orientated, so he is easy to train and work with on a film set.  His playful personality can be manipulated by his handler to work a whole host of movements.  He works particularly well with the red dot laser pen, flirt poles and feather cat toys.  If you require a cat playing for your brief, look no further.

Another action he is renowned for is his ‘paw licking’; it’s Dylan’s party trick and this works perfectly for commercial briefs, requiring a cat appearing to enjoy their food.  This active cat is also a big fan of the cat wheel, which he uses for exercise and play daily.  He’s also loves tunnel features on the cat agility course.

His skills and versatility for different roles mean that Dylan is a cat actor who is suited to very many roles.  He has a strong bond with his handler and both take direction well on film sets.

Add his stunning beauty to his abilities and you have the perfect cat actor.  He’s easily held by strangers, including the actors and actresses he works with on set.

Dylan is suitable for roles with scripts, where his actions can really shine.  He is able to work a full day on set and this stamina is proved by his work show circuit, where he has also shown his penchant for working in busy and noisy environments.  An alert and active cat, Dylan carries all the Selkirk Rex breed traits which are particularly suitable for show business.

Dylan feels truly at home working with other members of his 12-cat-strong household and so is perfect for working on multi-cat briefs.  Some of his feline housemates are also on The Animal Talent Ltd roster.

He is suited to a variety of acting roles and can work across several genres and his abilities will enable him to work in glamorous, prestigious dramas or even family homes that may be seen in soaps or comedies.

Dylan is a beautiful cat model.  His coat –  which is officially called “lilac silver shaded” – has a somewhat smoky effect, as do his eyes which are quite remarkable.  With the right camera work, Dylan looks almost sultry.  He really is quite striking and seductive.

He has a magnificent tail, a certain poise in his gait and piercing eyes that draw an audience in.  This assertive and active cat models action shots incredibly well.  He’s always on the go, so a photographer will be pleased with his motion in the studio.

This impeccable Selkirk Rex has fur shading that looks different depending upon the light; his beautiful coat moves from cream to lilac and through to silver.  He has a beautiful sheen to his coat accompanied by seductive green eyes.

Dylan will work well in commercial product placement shoots as well as working alongside human models.  He’s very much a people’s cat and handles very well. His outstanding good looks mean Dylan will suit photographic themes of luxury, elegance and opulence.

Dylan has had private portrait photography and his posing ability shines in these images.

Despite his lack of screen time, he is a tried and tested cat, to which his career with the GCCF attests.  This sort of competition requires a lot of stamina and resilience from its feline participants; cats who compete in shows will perform particularly well in the studio, because of the environmental similarities.
