At The Animal Talent Ltd we cast a diverse range of animal actors and models, all of whom are expertly trained and ready for film, television, adverts, print and more. Our acting animals include

Our feline friends bring grace and personality to the screen, whether it’s for a cosy photo shoot or an adventurous storyline.
We also have professionally trained bird models and actors for hire in our animal talent pool. From farmyard birds such as chickens to majestic eagles and other birds of prey, our agency can provide the birds you need for your purposes.
Discover our fascinating array of exotic animal actors, including reptiles, amphibians and other unique species who will make your production extraordinary.
Being the only animal acting agency in the UK with a Dangerous Wild Animal Licence, we offer skilled handling and ethical treatment of dangerous wild animals to create truly captivating performances.
Our farmyard talent includes a variety of domesticated animals trained as actors. These include horses, cows, sheep and more. They are perfect for rustic and rural scenes.
We prioritise the well-being and happiness of our animals, ensuring they are ethically trained and content in their roles. Explore the categories within our animal talent pool and find the perfect species for your next production.
In addition to the six categories above, we have a very extensive animal talent pool. We were once able to get 1,500 locusts and worms for a production! Contact us with your needs, tell us what your brief is and we’ll do our best to accommodate you, no matter what your request is.
Yes, they can. That’s one of the benefits of working with professional animal agents. You can see the bios and skills that many of our animal actors and models have by clicking on the animal within each category. If you need a specific stunt or action performed that you don’t see on our website, contact us so that we can find the animal you’re looking for.
We can provide a variety of handlers for animal actors on set, including Dangerous Wild Animal Licence holders, animal trainers, animal behaviourists and vets on set. Among our available staff, we have animal handlers accredited by the Institute of Modern Dog Trainers and the World Scent Dog Association, animal behaviourists who qualified with the International School of Canine Psychology and Behaviour and the Animal Behaviour and Training Council and award-winning, highly educated and experienced vets.
The more notice you can give us, the better! We have a large animal talent pool and if you need acting animals at short notice, we will endeavour to fulfil your request in as little as 24 hours because this is one of our specialities, but we can’t make any guarantees at such short notice.
For most animals, short bursts of work interspersed with rest is the best approach. While there’s no set time limit for animal actors to be on set, we fully comply with the UK Government’s legislation, the Dangerous Wild Animals Act 1976 (DWA), the Animal Welfare Act 2006 and the Animal Welfare (Licensing of Activities Involving Animals) (England) Regulations 2018, which give importance to safeguarding the welfare of the animals we work with. We always put the well-being of our talent first.
Unlike some of our competitors, we only work with modelling and acting animals that have been ethically trained. We’re selective about with whom we work and we only partner with animal trainers who use positive, reward-based handling. We also include welfare clauses in our contracts to ensure that every creature is treated ethically and responsibly.
With The Animal Talent Ltd, shots are guaranteed. If you don’t get the shots you need, you don’t get the bill.
