Dahlia, the medium mixed breed from Romania, is a gorgeous red coated mixed breed.  This Romanian rescue dog has an interesting mix of breeds probably of varied European village dog heritage, but in order to classify the nature and appearance of Dahlia, we think she most closely resembles the lovable nature of a Jack Russell Terrier, the sass and length of a Corgi and the ears of the Basenji.

Dahlia has a real rags to riches story; having been born on the streets of Romania, she was adopted by her new mum and is now living in the lap of luxury here in the UK.  She has a wonderful bond with her owner-handler and has blossomed into a confident dog that loves to train.  She is super intelligent and loves to learn all of her new skills.  

Production teams and content creators are looking to work with a truly unique dog that cannot be replicated won’t be disappointed with Dahlia.  She’s a real superstar in character and appearance.

Dahlia follows instructions easily and has a strong relationship with her owner-handler, meaning she has an eagerness to please.  Dahlia has bags of energy and is happy to work in the studio or out on location.  This capable girl can work a variety of roles and will enjoy training for specific storyboard ideas.  She is in her happy place when learning new skills, prepping for filming.

Capable of working in a variety of environments, she is confident when faced with noisy and busy environments and takes everything in her stride, so film and television studios are a cinch to her Dahlia.  She’s an adaptable girl and has the ability to go far within the dog acting world.

Delightful Dahlia is a stunning little girl.  She has a gleaming red coat and deep chocolatey eyes that are a window to the soul.  This medium sized dog model is a delight to work with.  She follows cues easily from her handler.

Being a mixed breed dog, Dahlia is really unique and there will never be another like her; this is perfect for commercial photography where a brand may be looking for a true one-off to represent their name.  Dahlia poses happily and finds product placement work easy.  She enjoys concentrating on the job at hand.

Her red coat is particularly well suited to autumnal scenes, natural settings and dramatic contrasts.  Her characterful face shows emotion and there is always a glint in her eye.  You will find Dahlia a pleasure to photograph in the studio or out on location.

Dahlia has worked for Pets at Home in a video shoot for their Summer 2024 range.  Her two videos for them have amassed over 150 000 views online.  We had excellent feedback for her time on set.   Considering her impressive skills, confidence and wonderful temperament we know that she’ll be an exceptional asset to any media production.
