Goose holds an Animal Actor Level 3 qualification. He has competed at Crufts four times across Rally and Obedience. He carries his Kennel Club Good Citizen Gold award and multiple trick dog titles from Do More With Your Dog. He is, in short, among the most formally credentialled performance dogs on our books and he has achieved all of it while remaining, by his owner’s account, a dog who has never met a stranger and who performs better the larger the crowd becomes.

The Toy Poodle carries a performing pedigree that stretches back centuries. Originally bred in Germany as a water retriever (the name derives from the German word for splashing), the Poodle was embraced by France as a companion and circus performer, where its extraordinary intelligence and physical dexterity made it a natural star. By the eighteenth century the Toy Poodle had become the favoured companion of Parisian high society and the breed’s reputation for brilliance has never wavered since. Marilyn Monroe, Elvis Presley and Walt Disney all kept Poodles and the apricot colouring that Goose wears has long been one of the most sought-after shades within a breed already celebrated for its elegance.

Happy to work with people of any age, size or background including those using mobility aids, and entirely comfortable in environments filled with other dogs and spectators, Goose is a dog whose confidence and focus scale upward with the occasion. He has attended Crufts, Edition Dog Live and DogFest as both competitor and demonstration dog and has remained composed and engaged throughout every appearance.

Goose’s formal performance qualifications make him an outstanding candidate for any production demanding consistent, precise and repeatable behaviour under pressure. He walks on his hind legs, jumps through hoops, traverses a balance beam, performs canine freestyle sequences and rides a moving object, the kind of physically ambitious and visually arresting repertoire that brings genuine spectacle to scripted productions and live events in equal measure.

He selects specific items from a group, tidies up on command, solves puzzles and executes send away and long-distance recall with the precision that only sustained competitive training produces. He works from a distance, holds a pose and redirects his attention on cue, giving directors a performer capable of executing complex, multi-step sequences reliably across multiple takes without any diminishment of focus or enthusiasm.

An apricot Toy Poodle with Goose’s level of training is a genuinely rare proposition and his soft colouring, compact elegance and natural poise photograph with the refined quality that premium campaigns seek out. Distraction-proof and ignorant of food distractions on set, he accepts clothing, glasses, hats and a GoPro harness without objection and remains patient through extended working sessions.

His scent work capability, paddleboard training and water confidence open up location shoots well beyond the studio. Luxury pet brands, outdoor lifestyle companies and high-end grooming labels would all find in Goose a model of exceptional composure and capability. His motion capture certification and product placement training extend his reach further still into technically demanding and digitally led content, making him one of the most comprehensively prepared performers we represent.
